On
the morning of May 23rd, 1997-Hugo Rodriguez, an acclaimed
Mexican swimmer turned mountaineer - was climbing Everest.
Determined to summit, the climber describes his
resolution, "I remembered the time and effort, training
during two years and struggling to acclimatize and be ready
for the mountain. I remembered my family, friends, and sponsors.
I know that if I didn't make it this time there would be
no other chance this season, nor this year, perhaps never..."
