Before his birth, I often thought of what I would teach Khobe. I dreamt of the far-off places we might visit. Together, we would climb high mountains and cross sandy deserts. I would teach him how to read, play nicely with his friends, eat with a knife and forkand how to stick out his tongue. It never once occurred to me that Khobe would become my teacher.
